The Illinois Team Series rolled on this weekend, stopping at Clinton Lake. The numbers did not disappoint, and 4 fish over 5lbs were weighed. In third place with 4 fish for 16.68 lbs, anchored by a 7.54lb big bass was the team of Michael McDowell and Sam Wheeler. 2nd place went to Nick and Rick King with 5 fish for 21.35lbs, and a big bass of 5.18lbs. First place went to the team of Clay Reeves and John Hodge. Despite having only 4 fish, they were able to land a 9.09lb largemouth to anchor a 24.87lb bag for the win. The next Team Series event will be Sunday May 6th at the Alsip Launch, fishing the Cal Sag and Lake Michigan. Hope to see everyone there!
