The Illinois Junior Bassmasters wrapped their 2018 state tournament yesterday, and once again our young anglers did not disappoint! 33 fish, including 3 limits, were brought to the scale yesterday, and the results were very close.
In fifth place with 4 fish for 5.96 pounds was Landon Gabby. Fourth place with 4 fish for 6.11 pounds was Jake Montovani. Third place with 5 fish for 6.56 pounds was Ryan Ringer. Second place was Carter Wijangco with 5 fish for 7.53. Lastly, your state champion, with 5 fish for 10.36 pounds and big bass of the tournament at 2.56 pounds was Trey McKinney.
